First growing pains
3/7/02
Please Note: In February, we experienced two major problems/changes, one
being a switch in servers the other a major computer crash. We are
almost back to 100% and with in a few days will be. We are a
little behind in our duties, unfortunately being a bit slower then we
normally are issuing papers and membership cards, and finishing up the
stallion pages. We apologize for this but look for us to be back
up to speed within a few days. Thank you.
Loss
of two young and promising IRC stallions 12/27
Everyone at
IRC is saddened by the sudden deaths of two of our young and
promising colored stallions Mascarpone GF and
Coloured Gold Bar. Both where lost suddenly and tragically.
Mascarpone GF a 6 year old German Warmblood
owned and bred by Gwendolyn
Gregorio died in a terrible accident in his stall, in which he was
caught up over the stall wall by his throat
and could not be freed. Mascarpone was the only Cremello approved
German Warmblood stallion in the world he was also one of Gwen's
favorites at the stud because of his kind and gentle nature. Our sincere
condolences to Gwen.
Coloured
Gold Bar also a young and promising
stallion owned by Tawna King was an up and coming 5 year
old palomino and white American Warmblood. He was just making his
mark in the world with his outstanding offspring. He was lost tragically
and suddenly by illness. Our sincere condolences also go out to Tawna.
We
hope that both ladies have peace in the
fact that their stallions both have
wonderful offspring to carry on their
sires outstanding characteristics.

Stallion
Video & Advertising in Stallion/breeding magazine issues
5/8, 8/21
Attention Stallion Owners. IRC is putting together a 2001-2002
stallion video & CD, which will be available to members and the general
public. Click here for further information.
IRC is also putting together an advertising campaign for IRC
stallions. We are hoping to run a 1-2 page color or blk/w
(depending on member interest/participation) ad with photo and
information on the stallions in the major publications stallion
editions. There is strength in numbers and the more stallion
owners who participate the more advertising "punch" we can
give the stallion campaign. This way your advertising dollar can go
further. We are also looking forward to producing a 2001 stallion
directory for the registry. Further information will be post
shortly, in the meantime please contact Liz Hall - coloredhorses@aol.com
for further information.

updated 6/20, 6/30, 8/1, 9/28
International Registry of Colored Horses L.L.C. "IRC"
is proud to have hosted a class at Dressage at Devon

West Coast. The show is Sept.22 & 23. BREEDER'S
CHALLENGE SHOW AND USDF BREEDER'S CHAMPIONSHIP Mr. J. Ashton Moore, September 23, Dr. Deborah P.
Harrison, and Mr. Moore for the Championship classes. Due
to the recent world tragedies entries at this show where small, the IRC
class did not have enough entries to warrant holding the class, we will
try again next year.
We are also looking into
several other shows throughout the US and Canada to host additional
classes for 2002--then hopefully also onto Europe
for 2002!
