Pure
White TB born in VA Bred by IRC member Bridget PerryPoints of interest Pure White Gold was born on April 25th, 2002 at 3:45 AM. He is out of Our White Lady (AUS), Billionair. He is the first and only White TB to ever be born in VA. He is the 17th foal eligible for registration with the Jockey Club as the color white, since they started keeping records in 1896. Our White Lady (AUS), is an imported Australian Jockey Club TB mare, Out of Moncharm (AUS), by Brazen Bay (AUS). Our White Lady is the only white TB ever born in the southern hemisphere. She was born in Oct. 22, 1991. Their breeding season is the opposite of ours in the USA. Norsire Farm/Bridget Kline-Perry imported her in April of 1998. She is believed to be a dominant white, since her dam and sire where both very plain marked chestnuts. To get a completely white horse out of two chestnuts, a gene has to mutate. It is called spontaneous mutation of a gene. Billionair the sire of Pure White Gold is by Issue of Gold, out of Queen Debonair, by Milkie. Milkie was the original palomino TB born in 1963. Billionair is one of three cremello TB’s ever born, in the 103 year history of the Jockey Club Registry. We also own his full brother Zillionair. The third cremello TB is in Canada, he was born in the USA and exported to Canada in 1998. There have been White TB’s in TB breeding for years and was started with the Arabian White horses. Cremello’s how ever where first born into the breed in 1998. Billionair was the second born and Zillionair was the third born. ![]() Issue of Gold the grandsire of Pure White Gold is by Gold Apollo (a VA stallion) who is now deceased, out of Issue’s Call by Issue. We still own Issue of Gold’s dam Issue’s Call she is now 20 and infoal with her 14th foal due in 2003. Queen Debonair the granddam of Pure White Gold, is by Milkie out of Store Bought Woman by Lucky Debonair. Queen Debonair with Issue of Gold has produced two rare cremello colts and one palomino colt out of three breedings to Issue of Gold. Norsire Farm owns all of the above horses, Issue of Gold, Queen Debonair, Our White Lady (AUS), Issue’s Call, Billionair, Zillionair, and Pure White Gold. It has taken many years to plan and produce these extremely rare colored Jockey Club thoroughbreds, at Norsire Farm. Photos and info/text by Bridget Perry
