Barlink Ultra Lite
Black splash white mare owned by Margaret Courville. This mare is by Barlink Macho Man, a stallion known for producing splash whites, although he isn't obviously colored as one. Upon closer study of his pattern, I believe Macho Man is a splash/frame overo.

Reddy Robin
Chestnut splash white/sabino, splash/frame or sabino stallion owned by Scott Livestock, Cincinnati, OH. This horse has classic splash markings except for the neck spots, which suggest sabino or frame. Like the filly above, this horse could be pure sabino, but I think he's a blend.
Name Unknown

Mighty Bright
(1960-1974) This red dun splash white blanketed Appaloosa stallion was one of the breed's most influential sires; he was also responsible for pulling splash white into the breed. Minimal white overos can be difficult for knowledgeable people to spot so it's understandable why these horses were merely considered to have a lot of white markings.
